Long time no see!
Thanks be to Lord!
In the past year, our church is getting stronger and stronger. Everyone gets more mature in spirit. Thanks to Mia’s reminder, I just think our small blog and decided to continue it. Because it’s not merely a blog to share God’s words, but also a platform to testify God with our small progress, no matter how small it is.
Wish brothers and sisters join us. Also, looking forward to your advice for our church blog. What do you want to see here?
” The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” (Proverbs 9:10)
“Charity never faileth:but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.” (Corinthians 13:8)
Dear brothers and sisters,
Peace in Lord!

“So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing:let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God:yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” (Jonah 3:4)

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Phil 4:6)
Prayer is very important in our life. Every day, we meet different kinds of difficulties. Before, when I met some problems, I just became passive. It was really hard for me to solve my problem by my own way. One day, I read the words in Bible, “but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”. These words allowed my ignorant heart suddenly to see the light. Yeah, I knew that. He was just by my side. He was looking at me always. So I prayed to Him with my heart, no matter how small the matter was. Gradually, I felt that my heart became close to Him and the problems were solved.
Brothers and sisters, the first wisdom of our lives is to rely on the Lord. If we pray to the Lord Jesus with our heart and honesty, we can see His love and mercy.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding: In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths.” (ASV)
In the past week, many things happened where we can see God’s authority and power. When something happens that we can’t understand, there is God’s will in it. Indeed all things are guided by the Lord and if we can submit our hearts to his will, he will guide us into the blessings he has prepared. Let’s this week quiet our hearts and trust in the Lord, he knows well our difficulties and needs and he will guide us through everything.
